Starting today, all three girlies are back in school! Reese started Transitional Kinder at our preschool. Since she's a summer birthday like Hailey, we decided to allow her to be one of the oldest in her class once she starts school, rather than one of the youngest. We made the same choice with Hailey and could not have been happier because they get to go through an outstanding program at our church. Reese was incredibly excited to start because she knew almost every child in her class already and the girl loves to socialize.
Landry is in the Turtles class this year and also has some friends in there she already knows. She's going three days a week, which means....I actually have FREE time to party (party=laundry in silence, vacuuming in sort-of-silence, making beds in silence, you know....the crazy mom life stuff).
It was the easiest first day of preschool EVER. I didn't have a chance to be sad because they basically RAN into their classes and didn't look back.
Here they are before we left. Please note: Reese was unbelievably excited to wear her Tom and Jerry shirt. She thinks that is the funniest cartoon EVER created.
Sweet girls
Reese with her first assignment completed. She completed an "all about me" doll. Landry wants to know if she can do one too when she's bigger like Reese.
LuLu posing for one last picture before heading in to class.
LuLu was asked if she wanted to paint right when she walked in. She said, "YEA!!!!"
Love our girls. Can't believe how fast time is going, but I'm so proud of how confident they are and how ready they are to learn! Go get 'em Smith girls!
