SECOND GRADE!!!

Adios summer.  June was too busy and chaotic.  However, we found our groove in July and August and I sure enjoyed the girls.

Note about second graders:  They still allow you to take their picture without complaining.  However, there are no more cute first day dresses.  No more bows.  No more of Mom deciding how to wear the hair.
Instead, she insisted on wearing a new "scratch and sniff" t-shirt about Brownies (because that's what she is in Girl Scouts now), she had her own idea about how her hair should be braided and pulled back and she picked out earrings to match the outfit.

I tell her all the time how much I love her.  She's my sweet girly girl that has taught me so much.  We prayed together last night that God would bless this school year, that she would learn lots, have fun, work hard and that she would make friends and be a good example to others.  She started at a new school today because we had one built closer to home.  The new move has me nervous, but she's as cool as a cucumber.  Go get 'em Hailes!  We love you!
