World Series!!!

Check it off our Bucket List!!! We had the opportunity to go to the World Series last weekend to cheer on our Texas Rangers! Even though they just lost the series tonight, they won the night we were there. The atmosphere was electric. The weather was perfect. The fans were fired up for baseball. It was a night to remember.

Before the game, we went down to watch batting practice. One of our friends from our Camp Ozark days, Jason Lofton, also came to watch the game with us. So fun to catch up with him too!
And....a big thank you again to Granni and Dan who called us and volunteered to come up and watch the girls while we went! It was a HUGE help because we were gone for almost the entire day. Of course, they didn't sit around and mope that they weren't there....instead they went to a pumpkin patch and to Chuck E. Cheese! I don't even think our kids realized we were gone....nor did they want us back once we came home :).- Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone
